SCHEDULE OF PLANNING FEES

If assistance from experts or professionals is required to evaluate, review and/or report on an application, then the applicant is responsible for any and all costs associated.

All Fees are subject to an automatic increase, effective January 1st of each year, based on the Ontario Consumer Price Index (All-Items) issued in October of the preceding year.

  • $227.00 to amend and recirculate the application
  • $118.00 to defer an application after circulation has occurred
  • $118.00 per lot or $65.00 for leases, easements, mortgages, validation of title to issue Certificate of Official
  • $227.00 to accommodate applicant's request for conditions of consent to be changed

  • If a Consent application is submitted with a Minor Variance application, the Consent application fee will be reduced by $92.00

Minor Variance

$870.00

  • $118.00 to amend and recirculate the application
  • $118.00 to defer an application after circulation has occurred
  • If a Minor Variance application is submitted with a Consent application, the Minor Variance application fee will be reduced by $92.00.

Rights-of-ways, Easements or Leases

$1,145.00

  • $227.00 to amend and recirculate the application
  • $118.00 to defer an application after circulation has occurred
  • $118.00 per lot or $65.00 for leases, easements, mortgages, validation of title to issue Certificate of Official
  • $227.00 to accommodate applicant's request for conditions of consent to be changed
  • If an application for rights-of-ways, easements or leases is submitted together with a Consent application, a combined fee of $1,709.00 is applicable plus $572.00 for each subsequent lot created and $118.00 for each subsequent lot subject to rights-of-way/easement/lease.

Official Plan Amendment

$4,560.00

  • If Official Plan Amendment application is submitted with a Subdivision / Condominium application, the combined fees will be reduced by $572.00.

  • Greater than 21 lots would be $113.00 per lot up to 150 lots.

 Red Line Revision

  • Submit fee with covering letter to explain red line revision(s). No application form required.

Draft Approval Extension

  • Submit fee with covering letter to explain draft approval extension. No application form required.

Amendment to Subdivision/Condo Agreement

  •  Amendment to an existing municipal subdivision or condominium agreement.

Combined Site Plan Approval & Zoning By-law Amendment for Redevelopment Sites

  • Applicable to existing developed sites which utilize an existing building or does not require the construction of a new building and only requires minor site works (e.g. paving, landscaping, fencing, etc.) to accomplish the redevelopment.
  • Planning staff will identify during pre-consultation the applicability of this fee depending on the nature of the proposed redevelopment
