The City of Orillia is committed to providing accessible public transit for its residents. That is why the City operates Orillia Transit and continually strives to improve the city-wide service offered. Routes and schedules have recently been altered and expanded to aid the growing number of post-secondary students attending Georgian College and Lakehead University.

During the winter season, transit drivers will adjust stops so that the riders can more easily board and disembark the bus in an area that is clear of snow near the bus stop.

Please inform the driver at the bus stop and they will arrange for the accessible vehicle to assist in a timely manner.

Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated.

The City also offers Orillia Wheelchair Limousine Service for those with accessibility needs. All aboard!

Pingstreet

What is Pingstreet?  Pingstreet is a free mobile app for mobile devices and provides Orillia residents/visitors with real-time access to helpful information using engaging tools.  The app is GPS based so it knows where you are currently located and relays requested information accordingly.

Real-time information will include bus arrival times, bus route information, current bus locations on the route map and the option to save frequently used stops as a favourite.

Orillia's Pingstreet app is currently available for download in all major app stores including iTunes App Store, Google Play, Windows Store and Blackberry World.
